Blog Content, Optimized for SEO

Goal: Create weekly blog content to answer FAQs, highlight products, and drive new visitors to the site by optimizing for SEO.

Process: I used Semrush for keyword research, competitor research, and ran all copy through the content writing assistant to score and optimize it for search visibility. Content was shared across social channels, email, on product detail pages, and in Facebook groups.

Results: Blog traffic increased 20% YOY with several articles including “Start Making & Sell Your Own Lip Gloss” and “Candle Label Requirements Guide” reaching & maintaining positions on Google page 1.


 

Black Friday Holiday Campaign Order Inserts


Goal: Build excitement and drives sales for our Black Friday/Cyber Monday Sale.

Process: I created this postcard and accompanying digital campaign that announced the promotions we’d be running during Black Friday/Cyber Monday and it was included in all outgoing orders for the two weeks leading up to the sale.

Results: I wouldn’t attribute all of our sale success to this postcard but offering a preview of the discount both in orders and via our social channels lead to a 9% increase in sales YOY.


 

San Diego Magazine Stat Campaign


Goal: Highlight the strength of San Diego Magazine’s audience across print, digital, and social platforms.

Placement: Ran in San Diego Magazine. Also turned into an onscreen presentation shown during client events and used on sdmagmedia.com, a website for advertising products and services.

Goal: Attract and educate advertising clients by providing information about audience demographics, market reach, pricing, and editorial calendar.

Placement: Presented in person and sent electronically by the sales team. Available for download online.
